What this tool shows
Each row is one Unicode code point. Emoji built from several code points—skin tones, flags, families joined with a zero-width joiner—appear as several rows, which is exactly how software stores them. Characters that print nothing, such as the zero-width space (U+200B) or a non-breaking space (U+00A0), are flagged so you can find them in copied text, spreadsheets or code.
Privacy
Your text is processed in your browser. Only the code point numbers of characters that are not already in the SymbolHero library are sent to our server to fetch their names; the text itself is never sent or stored.
