Don’t mix it up: Often confused with Ø (U+00D8), the Danish and Norwegian O with stroke, which represents a similar vowel.
Tip: In German, 'Oe' is the accepted fallback when Ö cannot be typed; Swedish and Finnish have no equivalent substitute.
